Ha ha. Did it to you again, didn’t I? I just had to participate in the “Deck the Blogs” contest, so I had to go with a new theme. Isn’t black a great background for all the colors of Christmas? It will take me another day or two to finish rearranging my site. My web design instructor would take back my certificate if he knew how many animated gif files I have going!

It finally got cold in Texas, and we actually had snowflakes on Thanksgiving day. We didn’t notice since we stayed inside, snug as a bug….. We had a great Thanksgiving. Hope you did too.

DH and I went shopping today AFTER all the truly dedicated shopped all last night. The stores were busy, but not as crowded as usual. And….I can’t believe this happened….a lady let me go ahead of her in the self check-out line at WalMart since I only had one item! Nobody is ever nice to me during this time of year. DH and I went out to eat during the shopping extravaganza, and I couldn’t help but notice how happy everyone was. Relaxed, happy. I can’t prove my theory, but I think it impacted all of us for the malls to open at midnight and let the night owls shop till they drop. Then the rest of us can shop/eat leisurely. I’m fer it!
