Ah, the day we look forward to …… the day with 25 hours. I actually feel like I have a moment to stop and breathe. I don’t mind losing an hour in April because I know how wonderful it will be to get it back. It is a luxurious, decadent feeling to have a little extra time.
Time has been at a premium this week. I haven’t posted anything for days—guess I have been too busy to be inspired by anything.
Today I broke a glass bowl while getting lunch on the table. What a weird moment! I had set the small bowl on top of another small item with my hand on both. As I turned from the counter and headed toward the dining room, I felt the bowl slip from my hand. I increased my grip, but it was too late. In slow motion the bowl fell upside down. The mozarella cheese sticks hung in the air for an instant, then bounced around like tennis balls. Boing, boing, boing….. As the bowl landed on its flat bottom and remained intact, I thought, “Whew! That was close!” Then I watched as it bounced off the ceramic tile about a foot in the air, turned upside down, and crashed into a zillion little pieces. Everywhere. There weren’t any large pieces left. The broom, the vacuum, and the Dustbuster were required as DH helped me clean up the wayward glass hiding in crevices, in rugs, in the carpet, on the sole of my shoes, behind anything and everything. Sigh. It will probably be days before I find it all…. I had a house full of company, and lunch had to wait. I hate it when I break glass. But, for one slo mo moment, the zillion tumbling shards of glass danced with the light creating a fantastic display of brilliance.
I am behind in my programming class. So, I need to be a good steward with this extra hour and get busy.
I hope you all have a blessed week.

Very. Big. GRIN!
I can tell here you are definitely a writer. A clumsy writer, yes, but wow. Sorry about the bowl, I hate that too. I need to replenish my dishes but it’s soo expensive to do, I put it off. But regret it when we have company. Hope your week is blessed…xo
