Savoring the lovely moments between the messes and celebrating my abundant life.

...I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. John 10:10
Life can get pretty tough, but every day brings me new blessings from God. I celebrate the precious gift of abundant life in my present and in my future.-Cheryl
Discouraged not by difficulties without, or the anguish of ages within, the heart listens to a secret voice that whispers: Be not dismayed; in the future lies the Promised Land.
- Helen Keller
It is the heart that gives; the fingers just let go.-Proverb
It was really nice being able to share that moment with you all! I’d never have known it was your mom’s first time in a Starbucks…
Wonderful photos… what great memories they’ve captured to be enjoyed throughout the coming years.
Pop by my blog if you get a chance… everyone who’s anyone will be there, lol.
Awesome! Not many kids get the chance to experience four generations being around at the same time!
What beautiful, special pictures!
Beautiful photo – I lost our fourth generation a few years ago and miss her terribly.
My WW entry is up, and I hope you’ll come visit
What a great-looking family!
LOVED the Starbucks story. My mom always rolls her eyes whenever I say I’m going to Starbucks. “Why would you want to spend four bucks on a cup of coffee?”
Oh mom, you just don’t get it. *grin*
The second photo celebrates a momentous occasion. It was the very first time we were able to get my mother into a Starbucks! My parent’s community finally got a SB coffee shop, and Dad enjoys going there with me when I’m in town. He and I are coffee buddies. Mom, however……
I’ve always loved generational pictures. I believe I notice some family resemblance on some faces.
Thanks to all of you for stopping by! I am very blessed to still have my parents. On this visit, they got to meet two new great-grandchildren for the very first time. It was a precious visit.
I have visited all your blogs, and, Villager, your sister’s quilting blog. I’ll visit it again when I have more time to enjoy it. Thanks for the reference!
Family is the most important thing!
My sister is a quilter. Visit quilting blog if you have time.
