If the illegal Mexican population here in Texas thought they could show us something with their May 2nd walkout, they did. They showed me that the traffic is much better on my commute - no wrecks, broken down vehicles, or snarls from someone not knowing where their exit is because they can't read English. I also received an email about the shop-lifting being down that day much more that the spending. :) If they hoped to get me to tell my congressional representatives to vote for new immigration laws to help them, they are mistaken. All their day out showed me is that I can get along just fine without them. Also, since I am a citizen, I can vote and they can't because they are illegal aliens, which means they are criminals. I was surprised that many of the people who obtained their citizenship legally would want these illegals to get citizenship another way. It is not easy to complete the requirements for US citizenship. It is insulting to those who have worked hard to get it. So, I say put them all out and they can come back when they can do it right.
